摘要：

       本研究以九二一重建區數位機會中心為研究對象，以社區組織為中心，探討社區社會資本如何有助於數位機會中心的運作並縮減城鄉數位落差。研究者自2005年起持續觀察重建區數位機會中心之運作，透過文獻法、田野觀察與深度訪談等方法蒐集資料。研究發現，九二一重建區因為災後重建的經驗，凝聚居民社區意識、活化社區組織與網絡、累積互信互動等社會資本，社區組織善用社會資本經營數位機會中心，在社區引進數位設備、培養數位技能及應用數位資源，有助縮減數位落差並推動社區發展。本文除累積本土縮減數位落差的實際經驗外，也在社會資本與科技的理論上有所貢獻，文後並對社區經營者及政策執行者提出建言。
